The disadvantages of running your site on a shared server are limited to low disk space, low search engine optimization and low bandwidth. Basically, shared hosts offer limited features. If you are expecting a lot of traffic or are planning on using your site for e-commerce, a dedicated web host will probably work best for you.

Dedicated web hosting is the third most common type of web hosting. A dedicated host costs the most, but it doesn’t have to empty your wallet each month.
